Requesting Transcripts with Naviance
Transcripts need to be requested through Naviance 15 days prior to the college application deadline.
How do I request my transcripts to be sent to a college through Naviance?
- From your Naviance homepage, go to "Colleges" tab
- Click on "Transcripts" at the upper left side of the page
- Select appropriate option "Transcript for my College Application"
- Follow steps shown to complete request
- You may also request your transcript by going to "Colleges I'm Applying to" and clicking on "Request Transcripts" right under "Common App Account Matching".
How can I get a copy of my transcript for myself?
- From your Naviance homepage, go to "Colleges" tab
- Click on "Transcripts" at the upper left side of the page
- Select appropriate option "Scholarships or Athletics"
- Follow steps shown to complete request.
- If this is for you, you will be the recipient.
- If you would like to receive your transcript via email, include your email in "Other Notes"
How can I check the status of my transcript request?
- From your Naviance homepage, go to "Colleges" tab
- Click on "Transcripts" at the upper left side of the page
- Select appropriate option "View the status of all my transcript requests"
If I put in one transcript request at the beginning of the year, will my updated transcripts be automatically sent out?
No, your transcripts are sent per request. When you first apply to colleges, an initial transcript will be sent (per your request), showing your grades and GPA through the end of your junior year. If you need your senior year, 1st semester grades and GPA sent to your colleges, you will need to submit another request at the end of the 1st semester.
FOR YOUR FINAL TRANSCRIPTS you must fill out the FINAL TRANSCRIPT REQUEST form to have your final transcript sent. If you have not completed the FINAL TRANSCRIPT REQUEST form, your final transcript will NOT be sent. Please ensure that you have the correct address for your colleges/ university. If you have completed a college/university course you must contact that college/university and have them send their official transcripts. Morse does not send transcripts from Mesa College, San Diego City College, and/or UCSD Extension.
