Here is a link to access lots of documents for parents' review.

Access to Students' Schedule

Students and parents will be able to access their schedules tonight at 6:00 p.m. via Student/Parent Portal. If you do not have a parent portal account or you need us to send your child's Access ID/Password, please email your child's alpha VP.

Chromebook Distribution

Morse just received more Chromebooks today. If your child does NOT have a Chromebook, please come to Morse on Friday, August 28th or Monday, August 31st between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to check out a Chromebook. If you child already has a functioning Chromebook in his/her possession, he/she does NOT have to come to Morse to check out a Chromebook...even if the Chromebook is from 8th grade or summer school.

Students DO NOT need their parents to come to Morse if they are able to get to Morse on their own. Parents can also come to Morse on their own to pick up their child's Chromebook.

Drive Through Pick Up Procedures

  • We are asking families to stay in their vehicles when coming to pick up their child’s Chromebook.
  • Please bring your photo ID and show proof of identity for your child by providing the following:
    • Student’s date of birth and address
    • Student ID number OR
    • Student’s school ID card OR
  • IMPORTANT: Write student’s name, ID number, or date of birth and address in large print on a sheet of paper that can be easily ready by staff members from a distance of at least 6 feet. Carry this with you to the line or place on the dash or your car, and be prepared to show it to staff.

Walk-Up Pick Up Procedures

  • If you do not plan to drive to Morse to pick up your Chromebook, you will be directed to another line to receive your Chromebook. Please still have the proof of ID and student’s information as stated above.

Textbook Return

Current 10th-12 graders: If you still have textbooks at home from the 2019-20 school year, we NEED you to also return them to Morse ASAP. We are busily preparing to distribute textbooks in the next couple of weeks and need ALL previously checkout books returned to Morse ASAP. Registration/Enrollment Update

Thank you to those parents who have been emailing their enrollment information to our enrollment clerks. Existing SDUSD students articulating to the next grade or cluster level do not need to submit a new Enrollment Card for 2020-21 school year. Your data has been rolled over in PowerSchool. There are other documents that we still need you to complete. But the district is asking that families begin to use Parent Portal to update information in PowerSchool. I am attaching a job aid so that families will know how to go into Parent Portal to update their information like emergency contacts, phone number, email, etc. You are not able to update your address in PowerSchool. We must verify this information via email at this time. Job aids in English and Spanish are attached to this email.

If you are new to Morse High School, you WILL need to verify your address with our enrollment clerks to ensure that you currently live in the boundaries to attend Morse High School. And there are still other documents we need you to complete. Link to our website is: https://morse.sandiegounified.org/cms/One.aspx?portalId=27933464&pageId=30366707
