Good evening, Morse families. I hope your children all had a great first day at Morse. I want to thank you for your patience as we launch this new school year in an online format. We had some glitches today and we are still working out the kinks.
Teachers reported that sooooooo many of their students were present for class today and many had their cameras on, ready to engage and learn. Some classes had 100% attendance! This is fantastic! I want to thank ALL of you for your support in speaking with your child and making sure that they were present for class and ready to learn.
To ensure we have a successful day 2, please take some time to read through the following information.
Remember, tomorrow, September 1st, students are ONLY supposed to attend Period 2 from 9:45 a.m.-10:45 a.m. They are working on their interactive portfolio/notebook for the rest of the day.

Chromebooks Distribution
We know that some students still need a Chromebook. So we are going to still distribute Chromebooks to students, but not through the drive through pick up. Most students have their Chromebooks. Only a select few do not. So we are going to have a table set up outside of the library so we can check out Chromebooks to students. We still need students to have their student ID or date of birth in order to check out a Chromebook. We will practice all social distancing guidelines, so please ensure you have a mask on when walking on to our campus.
Need more information?
PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO WATCH the video (it is about 23 minutes long) and VIEW the PowerPoint. The PowerPoint has a lot of important links that you can review over the next couple of weeks.
Thank you again for a successful first day of school. I am looking forward to many more successful days and weeks.
